Senior Design System Consultant - Audit and Recommendation

Project overview

As part of optimizing its Design & Product practices, the client wishes to be supported in carrying out a maturity audit of its Design System.

The objective is to establish a status report on the current use of the Design System within the organization, covering the Design, Product, and Tech dimensions, in order to identify areas for improvement and define a target trajectory.

This mission is also part of the preparation of orientations and budgets for 2027.

Mission Objectives

The consultant's objectives will include:

Expected Deliverables

• Evaluating the current maturity level of the Design System within the organization;
• Analyzing its concrete use by the Design, Product, and Tech teams;
• Identifying usages, best practices, obstacles, and any dysfunctions encountered daily;
• Analyzing the operational issues reported by the teams and identifying their structural causes;
• Positioning the organization on a Design System maturity scale;
• Defining a target vision and the maturity levels to be achieved;
• Formulating concrete recommendations for optimizing the usage and governance of the Design System;
• Proposing an evolution roadmap and priorities to inform reflections and budget decisions for 2027.
• Status report / diagnosis of the existing situation;
• Evaluation of the Design System's maturity level;
• Identification of the main pain points and areas for improvement;
• Definition of a maturity target;
• Operational and strategic recommendations;
• Proposal for a prioritized short/medium-term roadmap;
• Elements to inform the needs and investments to be planned in 2027.
