Job Description

You are the technical owner of the Linux environment in which our Alfresco application runs. You are responsible for the complete lifecycle management: from designing the system layout and hardening the OS images to resolving complex, in-depth technical incidents. You work in a highly secure environment where accuracy and adherence to strict protocols are essential. You ensure that the Alfresco service is always available, ensure a high level of availability, and full compliance with the applicable security standards within Defense.

Background of the assignment

The digital information provision within Defense is essential for operational effectiveness and is based on a complex, critical infrastructure around the Alfresco application. To ensure the continuity, scalability, and security of our ECM environment, we are looking for an expert who masters the full lifecycle management of the Linux environment.

This assignment is based on the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF). This is a European standard for describing IT competencies and the associated level of responsibility. The e-CF profile indicates which competencies and at what level (e-1 to e-5) are expected from the candidate. We expect candidates to clearly demonstrate in their CV that they possess these competencies. This can be done by describing for each relevant assignment or position:

Candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience with the chosen eCF profile in a similar role.
