Project overview

Dear Sir or Madam,

For an exciting project in the area of cloud infrastructure and AI platforms, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to support a DevOps team in the development and operation of a modern enterprise platform (BusinessGPT / Agent Platform).

The focus is on the automation, security, and reliable operation of cloud-native applications and platform components. You will take responsibility for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, GitOps deployments, network security, as well as high availability and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Building, further developing, and operating scalable cloud and Kubernetes infrastructures
• Automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with OpenTofu/Terraform
• Developing and maintaining GitOps-based deployment processes with Argo CD, ApplicationSet, and Helm
• Designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Administering and operating Kubernetes clusters based on T-Cloud CCE Turbo
• Automating network resources and platform components with Crossplane
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of production systems
• Implementing security measures for containers, networks, and cloud infrastructures
• Operating and optimizing PostgreSQL databases with CloudNativePG
• Implementing automated backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborating with software development, architecture, product management, and IT security

Requirements

Specific Technologies / Platforms

Cloud & Kubernetes: T-Cloud CCE Turbo, ECS, VPC, EIP, DNS, EVS, ELB, NAT

Infrastructure as Code: OpenTofu, Terraform, Crossplane

GitOps & Deployment: Argo CD, ApplicationSet, Helm, GitLab

CI/CD & Security: GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Xray, Container Hardening

Databases: PostgreSQL, CloudNativePG (CNPG), pgBackRest

Networking: Traefik Ingress Controller, TLS 1.3, cert-manager, Let's Encrypt

Security: VPC Network ACLs, Security Groups, Egress EIPs, PSA Restricted

Backup & Recovery: WAL Archiving, Point-in-Time Recovery, EVS Snapshots

• Several years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Platform Engineer
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructures
• Profound experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially OpenTofu or Terraform
• Experience with GitOps, Argo CD, ApplicationSet, and Helm
• Very good knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, pipeline design, and runner configuration
• Experience with cloud infrastructures, networks, storage, and load balancing
• Knowledge of Linux administration (systemd, SSH, firewalls)
• Experience with container security, network segmentation, and access controls
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and operating containerized databases
• Experience with backup, recovery, and high availability concepts
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
