Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Network and Security Engineer for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, to join a production infrastructure team at the heart of a major bank's transformation.

You will ensure the stability of network and security infrastructures, while evolving technologies and automating deployments.

Profile sought

Degree in IT, networks, or security (Bac+4/5). You have solid experience in network and security production in a demanding environment. You are proficient with Fortinet, Check Point, proxies, load balancers, and DNS. You know how to automate with Ansible, Terraform, and Python, and work with CI/CD and version management. A good level of English, both written and spoken, is essential. Rigorous, autonomous, and comfortable advising and coordinating multiple stakeholders, you enjoy sharing your expertise.

• Handle production tickets (requests, incidents, changes) and ensure rapid resolution.
• Maintain platform performance and correct vulnerabilities: patches, firmware updates, hardening.
• Evaluate, design, and introduce new technologies: next-gen firewalls, SD-WAN, API-driven load balancing.
• Lead POCs and pilots, then produce migration and deployment plans.
• Act as an expert for project teams: design reviews, troubleshooting assistance, implementation advice.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners for escalations, warranties, and product updates.
• Design and maintain the automation platform (Ansible, Terraform, Python) and its CI/CD pipelines.
• Share your knowledge, write documentation, and promote operational standards.
