MindFly Technologies is an IT service company focusing on software testing and software development. We are a young, dynamic team with flat hierarchies. For a client project in Vienna, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with experience in the Azure environment on a freelance basis, part-time.

Framework Conditions

Your Task

You will strengthen our client's Cloud/DevOps team. You will manage the Azure environment, handle incidents and administrative tasks, and independently develop solutions. You will work closely with the technical teams. In addition to project work, we offer further training opportunities in the field of Cloud and DevOps.

• Contract Type: Freelance
• Hourly Rate: €65-75/hour
• Utilization: Part-time (50%)
• Start: Immediately
• Duration: Long-term
• Location: Vienna
• 1 day per week on-site, rest of the time remote
• Project Languages: German & English
• Management and coordination of tickets (e.g., in Azure DevOps)
• Documentation of processes and technical issues in Confluence
• Incident handling and troubleshooting
• Administrative tasks such as renewing certificates and reporting
• Research on Azure topics and development of suitable solutions
• Coordination and implementation of solutions
• Databricks administration (DBX), e.g., granting permissions
• Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture in Azure: Services, Networks, Storage, Compute
• Automation & Scripting with PowerShell and Bash, Python is an advantage
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and ARM Templates
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and YAML Pipelines
• Monitoring & Observability with Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and KQL
• Containers & Kubernetes (AKS) is an advantage
• Experience with Data Platform / Integration Services is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the Azure environment, e.g., as a DevOps Engineer
• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
• Experience in agile working environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Structured and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills in a technical environment
• Willingness for regular on-site presence in Vienna
• Long-term, exciting client project in Vienna
• Flexible part-time with the option for full-time
