Senior Enterprise Architect

With your energy, it's possible

In the coming years, we will build our energy infrastructure on an unprecedented scale. This requires a different way of planning, engineering, and realizing. As Senior Enterprise Architect Construction & Energy Networks, you will design the coherence behind this construction task. You will connect investment planning, project control, engineering, work preparation, logistics, execution, and asset management with data and digitalization.

This is how you will tackle this challenge

Suppose we are expanding a substation, realizing a new cable route, or providing a neighborhood with extra network capacity. Before anything is built outside, a long digital chain is created: from investment plan and portfolio to design, execution, delivery, and asset registration. You will investigate where information is re-entered, where definitions differ, and where handovers between organizational units, systems, and contractors delay execution. You will then design a coherent target architecture.

You ensure that an asset retains the same meaning in each phase and that information remains usable for design, execution, and management.

You will look at the entire digital landscape, including:

The architecture does not stop at the borders of Enexis. You will also look at digital collaboration with contractors, engineering firms, suppliers, and other chain partners. BIM, information standards, object models, APIs, and data exchange are not purely technical subjects for you, but prerequisites for building faster and more predictably together.

  • You will make the digital chain from investment decision to managed asset reliable and future-proof.
  • You will bring business, IT, OT, and external chain partners together around one clear architecture.
  • You can count on good employment conditions such as a personal budget, a set up home office, and a first-class public transport pass for business use.
  • BIM;
  • CAD and GIS;
  • ERP and EAM systems;
  • Systems for project control, planning, and progress;
  • Document and information management;
  • Data and integration platforms.

Responsibilities

Your focus is on accelerating strategy realization. You will professionalize working under architecture within Enexis and help elevate the enterprise architecture function to a higher maturity level. You will work closely with and coach system architects and other teams in your areas of focus.

This is how you approach it

You have excellent stakeholder management skills, you are analytically and conceptually strong. You make complex subjects understandable for different target groups and move easily between management, senior management, specialists, and external partners. You combine strategic insight with a practical approach: you not only design a suitable target architecture but also ensure that it is executable. With persuasive power, organizational sensitivity, and connective leadership, you will bring people along in change.

Furthermore, you have:

You do not need to be a structural engineer or engineer. However, you understand what happens between the investment decision, design, engineering, work preparation, execution, delivery, and asset registration. You also have a feel for the coherence between IT and OT.

You will put your shoulder to the wheel with

Your colleagues from the business, Digital, and OT. Together you will work on choices that directly contribute to a future-proof Enexis. You will work at the intersection of societal challenges, technology, and strategy. In this environment, collaboration between different domains and disciplines is central. You will work on major change assignments in a dynamic technological landscape and translate innovation and market developments into applicable solutions.

Interested? We would like to receive a CV and the following information (without this information, the CV will not be processed):

  • You will connect processes, capabilities, information, data, and systems.
  • You will provide direction for the integration between portfolio, project management, engineering, BIM/CDE, GIS, ERP, and asset management.
  • You will design how information remains available, reliable, and usable throughout the entire lifecycle of an asset.
  • You will determine which information belongs where and how systems and chain partners exchange this information.
  • You will develop architecture roadmaps and help translate them into achievable solutions.
  • A completed university degree, preferably in a relevant technical, computer science, or business administration field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an enterprise architect, business architect, or digital architect in an asset-intensive environment, such as construction, civil infrastructure, energy, rail, industry, or telecom.
