Senior Expert CCH Tagetik and Capital Consolidation

Project overview

For our client in Bavaria, we are looking for a Senior Expert CCH Tagetik and Capital Consolidation (m/f/d) starting immediately.

Project Goal: One-time technical conception, validation, and documentation of capital consolidation in CCH Tagetik. The focus is on the technical review of data integration from the legacy system, the rule specification in CCH Tagetik, and the traceable result comparison for the opening balance sheet of 2026 and monthly periods up to December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the previous consolidation logic, the CCH Tagetik conception, relevant system rules, investment data, and historical transactions.
• Technical conception of capital consolidation in CCH Tagetik, including rule specification for master data, investment structures, acquisition levels, transaction types, and validations.
• Technical review of data integration for historical acquisition, investment, and equity data.
• Development of test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria for defined consolidation cases in CCH Tagetik.
• Review of migrated or reconstructed data for investments, equity, goodwill, and non-controlling interests.
• Comparison of results from the old and target systems at account, transaction, consolidation booking, and company level, as well as classification of identified differences.
• Creation of audit-ready result documents, difference analyses, closing documentation, and documented knowledge transfer.

• Several years of demonstrable project experience with CCH Tagetik in the area of capital consolidation. Pure practical experience in planning, budgeting, or forecasting is not sufficient.
• Sound practical experience in CCH Tagetik Consolidation, especially rule specification, data model, investment structures, consolidation logic, test cases, and reconciliation.
• Experience in the technical integration, migration, or reconstruction of historical consolidation data in CCH Tagetik.
• Sound experience in IFRS group accounting and capital consolidation according to IFRS 3 and IFRS 10, including goodwill, non-controlling interests, and changes in investments.
• Practical experience with initial and subsequent consolidation, successive acquisitions, partial sales, capital measures, mergers, liquidations, and internal restructurings.
• Experience in data review, test case design, error analysis, and creation of audit-ready technical and result documents.
• Very good German and English language skills, as well as an independent, results-oriented way of working within clearly defined work packages and milestones.
