• Preparation and execution of an RFP as well as development of bank-wide target states for the consolidation of core banking systems
• Development of the strategic application architecture for the core banking systems and their direct environment in line with the IT and corporate strategy
• Structured and critically challenging preparation of business requirements
• Responsibility for the development of a domain-spanning reference architecture
• Development of an implementation roadmap with critical path, dependencies, and clear exit points
• Support of vendor selection, including critical examination of cost issues
• 12 years of professional experience as a domain or enterprise architect in complex IT landscapes, especially in the area of core banking systems for accounts, securities, payment transactions, and financing
• Comprehensive experience with core banking transformations across various products and all project phases
• Proven experience with modern architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Capability Based Modelling, agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe, as well as common integration patterns
• Broad know-how on banking applications, IT solutions, and reference architectures
• Experience in level-appropriate communication at all levels from C-level to implementation teams
• Open personality with a quick grasp of things
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Assignment duration: January 2027 to March 2028 with option for extension
• Workload: 100%
• Location: Zurich & Remote (only possible within Switzerland)
