For a customer project, we are looking for a

Senior Expert for Supplier Qualification, Production Readiness and Quality Improvement – 80% onsite in Bavaria

Our client is looking for a Senior Expert for supplier qualification, measurement equipment release, and defect resolution processes, who has many years of experience in supplier consulting, including organizational development.

Furthermore, a strong hands-on mentality with high initiative is required for the successful implementation of production goals.

Experience in the security and defense sector or in aerospace, as well as knowledge of dealing with and selecting offset suppliers, is advantageous.

• Creation of a binding and coordinated schedule until production readiness is achieved and FAI parts are released for delivery
• Scheduling for series deliveries after FAI
• Day-by-day monitoring of supplier production status in relation to the created schedules. Development and implementation of action plans for deviations between target and actual
• Development of a ramp-up scenario with suppliers (employee capacity, machinery, infrastructure)
• Overall coordination of project implementation
• Fully released FAI according to EN9102
• Measurement system analysis (MSA) with suppliers. (Suitability of the supplier's testing equipment is proven, required tolerances can be met, or there is a justification agreed with the customer's development for not achieving a positive MSA)
• Control plan based on EN9145 per component, bindingly applied by suppliers
• Description of the metrological procedure per component
• Implementation of a systematic defect resolution process with suppliers (8D process) for the delivery of non-conforming material
• Weekly status report
• Know-how in project management, scheduling, managing employees and suppliers
• Know-how in internal and external stakeholder management
• Know-how in risk management
• Strong negotiation skills and communication abilities
• Know-how in the realization of FAI according to EN9102
• Know-how for creating control plans based on EN9145
• Know-how in measurement system analysis (MSA)
• Know-how in coordinating and implementing delivery plans
• In-depth knowledge in the area of corrective and complaint processes
• In-depth knowledge in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving
• In-depth knowledge in VDA 6.3
• Sound experience in the implementation and optimization of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, EN 9100, AQAP *)

Nice to have

• Experience in handling precision components and optical components
• Experience in handling high-tech components in niche applications
• Experience in dealing with offset obligations and their fulfillment

Project details

ASAP, a later start in Q1/2027 is also possible

3-6 months + option

Utilization: 4-5 days per week

80% onsite in Bavaria and 20% remote
