Senior Expert Infrastructure - Developer Cloud Services with focus on SaaS/PaaS

Project overview

For our client, we are currently looking for a Senior Expert Infrastructure - Developer Cloud Services with a focus on SaaS/PaaS.

Responsibilities

• Conception, planning, and development of cloud-based services on Linux and Windows basis with the service model SaaS/PaaS
• Further development of SaaS/PaaS services on Linux and Windows Server basis
• Coordination of dependencies with other teams of the cloud platform
• Support of the Cluster (Product) Owner in requirements gathering and coordination with stakeholders
• Development and updating of service and architecture documentation
• Development and documentation of test cases
• Support of the operations team in maintenance and operation of the services, troubleshooting in development and production systems, updating and deployment

• Basic knowledge of system and infrastructure monitoring with Checkmk
• Basic knowledge of system backup with Veeam
• Experience in the initialization, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based operating systems (RHEL) and Windows Server
• Experience in API development (REST API, Swagger)
• Project experience in the cloud environment using Linux (RHEL), Docker/Podman, Puppet, Kubernetes, Cloud Deployment, or comparable technologies is desirable
• Project experience in teamwork in the context of agile (software) development
• High motivation to contribute to topics and drive them forward independently
• Independent work and self-sufficient identification of tasks/topics

• Veeam
• API (REST, Swagger)

• Jira, Confluence
• Up to 100% remote possible;
• Willingness to attend on-site meetings once per quarter at customer locations (nationwide)
• Willingness to perform on-call duty
• Willingness to commit according to the Commitment Act.
• Willingness to commit to data secrecy according to § 53 Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
• Willingness for security clearance level Ü2 (sabotage and secrecy protection).
