For upcoming modernization projects in the mid-sized business sector, we are looking for experienced Flutter developers (m/f/d) for our expert pool.

A grown business application is being modernized and migrated to Google Cloud. Part of this is a mobile app for iOS and Android in Flutter, which is being newly developed or fundamentally revised and is connected to existing backend services via REST APIs.

Job facts: Direct client project

• Gather requirements with the business department and Product Owner and translate them into user stories with acceptance criteria
• Develop alternatives for app architecture and state management and coordinate with architects and decision-making bodies
• Implement features end-to-end: user interface, business logic, API integration, offline capability
• Connect backend and database services, e.g., authentication, push notifications, and Cloud Firestore
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, widget, and integration tests)
• Set up CI/CD for builds and publication in the App Store and Google Play
• Prepare and support technical acceptance, analyze and fix errors
• Conduct code reviews and document the solution
• At least 5 years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years using Flutter and Dart in production apps
• Published own apps in the App Store and Google Play
• Practical experience with an established state management approach (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider)
• Connection of REST APIs and automated tests
• Fluent German, good English
• Experience with Google Cloud and databases
• CI/CD for mobile apps (e.g., Codemagic, GitHub Actions, Fastlane)
• Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin for native extensions
• Accessibility and GDPR-compliant app development
• Collaboration in agile, distributed teams
• Deployment: predominantly remote, occasional on-site appointments in DACH
• Duration: typically 4 to 6 months, extension possible
• Utilization: 80 to 100 percent
