Flutter Expert

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Flutter expert (m/f/d) starting mid-November.

Responsibilities

• Development of new features with Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android
• Implementation of business requirements in the Brokerage and/or Daily Finance domains
• Development and integration of domain-specific packages within the monorepo
• Contribution to the central Flutter app as an orchestrator
• Technical conception and coordination of solution approaches
• Creation and maintenance of automated integration and end-to-end tests
• Execution and participation in code reviews
• Ensuring clean code and a maintainable codebase
• Analysis and resolution of technical errors
• Support with refactorings and technical optimizations
• Collaboration with other trades in the interdisciplinary domain team
• Use of AI and agentic development tools, for example for:
• Code generation and code further development
• Creation and extension of automated tests
• Error analysis
• Refactoring and optimization
• technical documentation
• Support with code reviews

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in professional development with Flutter and Dart
• Very good knowledge of Flutter
• Experience in developing productive mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Good practical experience with BLoC
• Experience with modular software architectures and package structures
• Experience with monorepos or comparable modular codebases
• Confident handling of clean code principles
• Experience with automated integration and end-to-end tests
• Experience with code reviews
• Ability for technical conception and independent solution finding
• Sound practical experience with AI-supported development tools
• Experience with agentic development approaches in the software development process
• Ability to technically and functionally evaluate AI-generated results
• Ability to familiarize yourself with an existing architecture and complex business domains

Nice to have

• Experience with Patrol or comparable testing tools
• Experience with go_router
• Experience in Banking, FinTech, Brokerage, or Finance projects
• Experience with performance optimization and refactoring
• Experience with large, modularly structured Flutter applications
• Experience in the conception and further development of agentic development workflows
• Experience in supporting or mentoring less experienced developers
• Knowledge of native iOS or Android development, e.g., Swift or Kotlin, is optional and not a prerequisite
