Senior ForgeRock Developer (m/f/d) – IAM / CIAM

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure ForgeRock-based IAM and CIAM solutions
• Implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle processes
• Develop and customize ForgeRock journeys, scripts, workflows, and integrations
• Integrate ForgeRock with enterprise applications, APIs, directory services, and security services
• Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and the resolution of production incidents
• Contribute to technical documentation, testing, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with architects, security specialists, operations teams, and business stakeholders
• Participate in an agile delivery model and DevOps-oriented ways of working

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with ForgeRock, ideally with the ForgeRock Identity Platform
• Strong experience in IAM, CIAM, authentication, and authorization
• Solid Java development skills
• Experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and web technologies
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and LDAP
• Experience with identity lifecycle management and directory services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Ability to work independently in a distributed international team
• Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken

Background of the role:

To support a German telecommunications company / mobile network operator (MNO), we are looking for an experienced Senior ForgeRock Developer (m/f/d).

The client is further strengthening its access and identity management capabilities and requires support in the development, configuration, and operation of its ForgeRock-based IAM and CIAM landscape.

The objective of this role is to support the technical enhancement, integration, and stabilization of the ForgeRock-based IAM / CIAM platform within an agile and DevOps-oriented environment.
