Context

Constellations is a strategy consulting firm founded by BCG, OC&C, and EY-Parthenon alumni. Six independent partners work with general management, executive committees, and investment funds, with teams composed solely of independents.

Our Data & AI practice designs and puts AI solutions into production where they change a business outcome:

In production, for us, means: real users, quality measured and monitored over time, controlled costs, and a client team capable of maintaining the solution without us. Non-exhaustive sectors: luxury, retail, telecom, industry, private equity.

We are looking for several Forward Deployed AI Engineers for these ongoing missions and proposals.

Missions

You will take an AI solution end-to-end at the client's site, from business need to adoption, and you will be accountable for it. You will be the client's daily technical contact, paired with the partner leading the mission.

• Translate a business process into the right solution: agent, automation, AI product, or nothing when AI is not the answer
• Design and develop the solution: orchestration, tools, context management, integration into IS and unstructured data
• Build the evaluation on the client's real data: reference datasets, LLM-as-judge, quality monitoring, cost, latency, adoption
• Put into production: deployment in the client's IS, security and safeguards, observability, cost monitoring, handover to teams
• Lead scoping workshops, present demonstrators and trade-offs to decision-makers
• Support users and improve the solution over time
• Agents, RAG, evaluation, LLMOps
• IS integration

• Contract: Freelance
• Experience: 4 to 8 years in AI engineering, ML engineering, or development, including at least one agent in production with a client
• Location: France, regular presence at the client's site depending on the mission
