Senior Frontend Engineer

Project overview

To strengthen an agile product team within an Agile Release Train at one of our clients in Lucerne, we are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Development personality. The focus is on strong operational delivery, clean and independent technical implementation, and reliable teamwork. You will independently conceptualize and realize complex requirements, bring good engineering practices, and constructively drive technical topics forward.

Responsibilities

• Independent conceptualization and implementation of complex frontend requirements with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS
• Development of reusable web components with high demands on user experience, accessibility, and usability
• Development and implementation of architecture-compliant solutions, including documentation
• Ensuring quality through E2E tests and UI testing with Storybook and Chromatic
• Targeted use of AI-based coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot to increase quality and development speed
• Proactive identification of potential improvements in code and processes
• Close, cross-team collaboration with the business department and development team, as well as knowledge transfer within the team

Requirements

General Framework Conditions

• Sound practical experience as a Senior Frontend Developer with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS
• Strong know-how in Web Components, accessibility, and usability, as well as enthusiasm for good user experience
• Experience in the DevOps and cloud environment
• Practice with E2E tests and UI testing, ideally with Storybook and Chromatic
• Confident use of modern AI-based coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Ability to confidently translate demanding architectural requirements into high-quality code and solve complex technical challenges
• Experience and willingness in backend development with Java is an advantage
• Experience in agile teams, an implementation-oriented doer mentality, and a high degree of independence and responsibility
• Composure under pressure and enjoyment of sharing knowledge
• Target-group-oriented communication in German at C1 level
