Project overview
We’re looking for a hands-on, frontend-leaning full-stack engineer to build media services and user-facing experiences with React and Node.js/TypeScript. You’ll work on products involving video and image content, contributing across development, integrations and production ownership.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React-based interfaces and Node.js/TypeScript services for media products.
- Develop services and APIs that support media ingestion, delivery and embedding across web experiences.
- Take features from implementation through deployment, monitoring and ongoing improvement.
- Help ensure production services are secure, observable and reliable at scale.
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to shape and validate new product ideas.
- Use production feedback to iterate on systems and product behavior.
- Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript, with a frontend-leaning full-stack profile.
- Professional experience in a relevant digital media, publishing, video or image-based product context, including work with multimedia content or its delivery and embedding.
- Experience taking full-stack features or products into production and supporting them through monitoring and ongoing maintenance.
- Strong experience with AWS and production systems; relevant services include ECS/EKS, RDS, SQS, CDK, MediaConvert and CloudFront.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work independently on technical tasks.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of an everyday engineering workflow.

What we offer
- Experience in AdTech or programmatic advertising; RTB experience is not required.
- Experience with real-time or low-latency backend systems.
- Knowledge of media delivery, format optimization or scaling.
- Familiarity with Python or Rust.
- Ownership of media services from development through production operation.
