Senior Fullstack Developer – Development of a Digital Publishing Platform

Responsibilities

• Conception and development of a browser-based digital publishing platform
• Development of a high-performance document viewer with zoom, paging, and navigation functions
• Implementation of a responsive user interface for desktop, tablet, and smartphone
• Development of a digital archive including administration area and content management
• Implementation of user and subscription management with access and device restrictions
• Development and connection of backend services, databases, and APIs
• Ensuring performance, data security, and scalability

Requirements

Framework Conditions

• Several years of experience in fullstack web development
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript as well as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP/Laravel, or Python
• Knowledge of PDF rendering and document processing (e.g., PDF.js, HTML5 Canvas)
• Experience with REST APIs and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Knowledge of authentication, user management, and authorization concepts
• Experience with responsive web design and performance optimization
• Knowledge of web security, cloud hosting, and GDPR requirements
• Ideally, experience with e-publishing, e-paper, or document management platforms
