Senior Functional Administrator, development future-proof functional administration

Project overview

As a senior functional administrator, you will contribute to the further professionalization of functional administration within the social domain. You combine senior subject matter expertise with the ability to guide colleagues and develop a team.

You will help functional administration evolve from a primarily application-oriented and reactive approach to a process-oriented, proactive, and advisory role. You will consider the coherence between people, processes, applications, and data. In this way, you will contribute to the improvement of service delivery and business operations.

You are an experienced senior functional administrator with extensive subject matter expertise. You can guide colleagues through changes and ensure that improvements are not only conceived and implemented but also become part of daily practice.

You will work in a cluster consisting of three medior and two senior functional administrators. The seniors play an important role in subject matter development and handle more complex change assignments. The future outlines have been determined; the further elaboration of roles, working methods, and collaboration will be done together with the cluster.

• The candidate has at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in functional administration, with at least 2 years at a senior level. Additionally, the candidate has demonstrable experience in guiding employees or teams in the professionalization of functional administration or the implementation of new working methods
• The candidate has at least HBO work and thinking level, demonstrable through a completed HBO education or relevant work experience at a comparable level
• You have completed at least one assignment where a team of functional administrators was demonstrably guided to a higher level of professional maturity. The CV or explanation should indicate the role you fulfilled, the improvements achieved, and how they were secured in daily practice
• You have demonstrable experience in guiding and coaching functional administrators during their daily work, while also actively participating at a senior level yourself. This guidance was aimed at increasing employee independence and the structural application of new working methods
• You have at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a senior functional administrator, with responsibility for complex issues at an operational and tactical level
• You have demonstrable experience in improving process-oriented and chain-oriented functional administration and in professionalizing the management of suppliers, changes, and the quality of information provision. Both aspects should be evident from concrete activities or results from previous assignments
• You have at least 2 years of demonstrable work experience with functional administration within a municipal organization, specifically focused on the social domain
• You have demonstrable experience with PinkRoccade applications for the social domain
