Seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer with a focus on Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for a client in the financial sector. The role involves developing productive RAG applications, realizing new use cases from concept to operation, and supporting the build-out of a GenAI platform.

Description
For our client in the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior GenAI Engineer with a focus on Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will further develop productive RAG applications, realize new use cases from technical conception to operation, and support the build-out of a GenAI platform.
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of robust, production-ready GenAI solutions with a focus on RAG.
- Ongoing further development and optimization of existing RAG applications, as well as implementation of new AI use cases, patterns, and self-service functions.
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and APIs for GenAI applications, inference, and real-time integration into enterprise systems.
- Co-designing the GenAI platform to efficiently implement new use cases.
- Implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automated tests and deployments, as well as continuous validation of GenAI solutions.
- Monitoring and optimization of productive applications regarding reliability, scalability, and business value.
- Close collaboration with Cloud Engineers, Business Engineers, Data Scientists, other DevOps teams, and business departments to transfer prototypes into operational solutions.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of GenAI technologies, especially RAG, as well as practical experience in prompt and context engineering.
- Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as LangChain and Langfuse.
- Profound knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure with App Service, Container Apps, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search; experience with comparable cloud platforms is also relevant.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and API development for model integration.
- Practical knowledge in LLM tracing, LLMOps, and evaluation of GenAI applications.
- Profound programming skills in Python as well as experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with test automation, automated deployments, and iterative validation of GenAI solutions.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring AI is an advantage.
