Job description
Seeking a Senior IAM Engineer / Security Operations Manager to operate and develop a modern cloud infrastructure for Identity & Access Management, focusing on Omada Identity Cloud. The role involves combining engineering, operations, architecture, and security to ensure platform stability, drive development, and implement improvements.
Project overview
You will work in a team responsible for approximately 80,000 enterprise identities in Identity & Access Management. We operate and develop a modern cloud infrastructure in SAP and non-SAP environments, using Omada Identity Cloud for identity, governance, identity management, and provisioning.
You will combine engineering and operations with architectural and security understanding: You will ensure stable platform operation, actively shape the further development of our IAM/IAG landscape, and question existing processes – deriving sustainable improvements from operational and support knowledge and developing viable solutions together with business departments, architecture, suppliers, and internal customers.
You will handle incidents and support requests and advise internal customers from IT and Business.
You will ensure the stable operation of the IAM/IAG platform Omada and continuously develop it, especially in the areas of provisioning and account management.
You will analyze operational, support, and incident data and derive and implement sustainable bug fixes, automations, and process improvements.
You will analyze, design, and implement technical integrations, interfaces, connectors, and API connections.
You will evaluate and design future IAM/IAG components – for example, in the areas of provisioning & access management or compliance – and integrate them architecturally.
You will help shape security standards and best practices and anchor them, especially the principles of Zero Trust and Least Privilege.
You will gather and prioritize requirements together with the business departments, create specifications, and accompany the implementation up to the productive rollout.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Architecture, suppliers, and customers and support and coach less experienced team members.
Requirements
Several years of practical experience in a comparable role in a complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment. Profound understanding of authorization management, role models, identity governance, and IAM security principles. Experience in operating and further developing business-critical platforms, as well as in the structured handling of incidents and support cases. The ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business contexts, communicate them appropriately to the audience, and develop solutions together with various stakeholders.
Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment in critically examining existing approaches and implementing concrete improvements. Very good German skills and the ability to communicate in English in everyday work.
