Job description
Seeking a Senior IAM Specialist to support the establishment of a central IAM service and develop governance structures for a municipal utility group in NRW. The role involves organizational integration, process development, and tool selection.
Responsibilities
- Organizational integration of IAM into the existing IT organization
- Further development of governance structures, roles, and responsibilities in the IAM environment
- Conception and further development of the organizational operating model for the central IAM service
- Development of an implementation strategy for policies, processes, and a tool solution
- Preparation of decision-making bases and coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Consulting on regulatory requirements and integration of IAM into existing security structures
- Manufacturer-independent support in selecting an IAM tool solution

- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Information Security
- Proven experience in complex IT or organizational projects in a responsible role
- Practical experience in establishing IAM governance and defining roles and responsibilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for authorization management and information security
- Experience in the manufacturer-neutral selection of IAM tool solutions
- Proficient in moderation, committee work, and documentation
- German language skills in speaking and writing at least C2 level
