Senior Infrastructure Engineer – DevX & Internal Developer Platform

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Developer Experience and Internal Developer Platforms for an innovative company in the field of AI and product development.

In this role, you will shape the internal developer platform, enabling product teams to deploy and operate their services independently – without having to wait for central infrastructure teams. You will work hands-on on the modernization and consolidation of services in the cloud and build the tooling infrastructure that provides developers with a clear path.

Responsibilities

• Development and operation of an internal developer platform with a modern cloud-native setup
• Leadership of cloud migration: Consolidation and modernization of existing services
• Design of system and infrastructure architecture with clear communication and documentation
• Direct collaboration with product teams to solve infrastructure challenges
• Use of coding agents as an integral part of daily work

Requirements

The offer:

100% Remote, 3 months, 80% utilization, starting immediately.

• Proven experience in building or selecting developer tools that demonstrably make teams work faster
• Strong competence in TypeScript/Node.js or a conscious, current shift towards it
• Routine handling of coding agents and critical review of their outputs
• Familiarity with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), cloud migration, and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to differentiate between in-house development and adoption of existing solutions
