Responsibilities

• Responsible support of the IT Supply Chain Management system
• Consulting in strategic Supply Chain Management projects
• Support of IT systems in the value chain in intralogistics and extralogistics
• Cause and risk analyses, identification of deficits regarding supply chain processes
• Identification of potential for improvement and outlining ways to realize them
• Development of innovative concepts in the areas of strategy, material flow, technology, and organization
• Collaboration with employees and management to improve and further develop systems
• Task force team member in supply-critical situations

• Completed studies in (Business) Informatics / Engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as an Inhouse Consultant Logistics and Supply Chain
• Sound technical/process knowledge from the logistics/SCM environment
• Ideally, experience in trade / wholesale of perishable products
• Experience with the design of logistics networks, transport and warehouse planning, etc. nice to have
• Experience with Sales & Operations Planning, optimization of business processes, etc. desirable
• Self-motivated team player with a strong customer orientation
• Strong communicator with assertiveness
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing, good English language skills
• Interest in permanent employment in the dynamic environment of a large retail company
