Project Background

For the expansion of our expert network and potential upcoming client projects in the field of information security, we are looking for experienced freelance ISMS Consultants with extensive consulting experience. Experts with project references in the public sector, federal authorities, or the defense environment are of particular interest.

Responsibilities

Consulting on the establishment, further development, and optimization of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)

Conducting information security and risk analyses

Creation and further development of security policies and security concepts

Preparation and support of internal and external audits

Consulting on the implementation of regulatory and normative security requirements

Coordination with IT security, compliance, management, and specialist departments

Requirements

Several years of experience in ISMS consulting

In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 27002

Experience with BSI IT-Grundschutz and relevant BSI standards

Knowledge of information security risk management

Experience in complex organizations and regulated environments

Very good German language skills

Desirable

Project experience in the public sector or defense environment

Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Lead Auditor, or CISM

Experience with VS-NfD requirements
