Responsibilities
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Own end-to-end delivery of medium-scale, complex, global IT infrastructure transformation initiatives, from conception through implementation and closure.
- Establish and uphold robust project governance, ensuring controls, standards, and reporting are consistently maintained across diverse teams.
- Manage full financial accountability, including tracking operational and capital expenditure, conducting financial analyses, and early escalation of risks and budget issues.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across IT, Business, and Finance functions—securing buy-in, providing executive-level updates, and ensuring project alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead global, multi-disciplinary teams via a matrix structure—setting clear operating rhythms, resolving roadblocks, and proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Apply HSBC Business Transformation Frameworks and delivery methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) to ensure disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate a smooth transition into Business-as-Usual, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, benefits realization, and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT infrastructure projects end-to-end.
- At least 5 years of experience in project or program management, especially in technical environments.
