(Senior) IT Project Manager / Product Owner – ITSM

Activity Description:

The Profile Sought:

• Agile Team Management: You will manage a development team in the role of Product Owner using Scrum events and the backlog.
• Requirements Management: You will gather, clarify, and formulate epics and user stories, including associated acceptance criteria.
• Project Responsibility: You will ensure adherence to deadline, cost, and quality targets during the implementation of the sub-project.
• Project Planning and Reporting: You will support the overall project management in project planning and reporting.
• Cross-Project Coordination: You will coordinate dependencies, risks, and changes with other sub-projects.
• Stakeholder Management: You will be responsible for coordination with stakeholders, cost control, and the creation of project reports.
• Continuous Improvement: You will promote the further development of collaboration within the development team, thereby increasing efficiency.

Requirements

Professional Experience and Technical Skills:

What you also bring:

• Completed business administration studies or a Bachelor's degree in an IT course. Alternatively, a comparable commercial apprenticeship or a recognized IT vocational training with at least ten years of relevant professional experience.
• Sound knowledge of common project management standards, proven by an IPMA Level D certification or comparable qualification.
• Knowledge in IT Service Management (ITSM) with an ITIL Foundation certification (Version 3 or higher).
• Experience with agile methods, especially Scrum, proven by a Product Owner II certification or comparable qualification.
• Very good German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B1 level.
• At least four years of professional experience as a project employee in ITSM projects with a focus on platform development or migration, preferably for public clients.
• At least three years of proven ITSM experience in the area of Service Request Management.
• At least six years of relevant experience in the role of Product Owner.
• Confident use of Jira or comparable project management tools, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of MS Project.
• Willingness to travel: Maximum 20% of working time on average
• Security clearance: Willingness to undergo a possible security check according to SÜ2 required
