Project overview

Our client is a major player in the healthcare sector in North Rhine-Westphalia, representing top research and medicine with over 10,000 employees. As a Senior IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of the server infrastructure, including database servers, as well as Citrix Virtual Apps.

Responsibilities

• Administration of the Oracle and MS-SQL database server infrastructure
• Database administration, as well as administration of the central Citrix Virtual Apps infrastructure
• Administration of server systems e.g. Windows 2021 R2 to 2019, RHEL
• Documentation and quality assurance of requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, qualification as an IT specialist for system integration, or comparable qualification
• Experience from comparable server infrastructure projects
• Profound expertise in server administration with Oracle, MS SQL, as well as Windows and Linux servers
• Very good knowledge in the administration of Citrix Virtual Apps systems
• Very good communication skills in German, as well as a communicative team player with assertiveness
• Established personality and solution-oriented work style with a lot of initiative, analytical thinking, and quick comprehension
• Very good German language skills
