Senior Java Developer - JEE/Spring Boot/Microservices/Oracle PL/SQL/Docker & Kubernetes

Project/Role: For a position as Senior Java Developer in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced individual with in-depth knowledge of Java development and core banking systems. The focus is on developing software solutions with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Spring Boot, and Microservices, as well as working with Oracle PL/SQL and containerized applications.

Responsibilities

• Further development of the core banking system/backend in the areas of accounts, loans, and customers.
• Participation in the implementation of new requirements in Java Enterprise Edition/JEE, Microservices, REST Web Services, and Spring Boot.
• Ensuring quality by creating automated tests and maintaining technical documentation.
• Support in troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Maintaining and expanding existing software components.
• Possible participation in the analysis and conception of new customer requirements.

Role: Senior Java Backend Engineer

• Several years of professional experience in Java backend development in the banking or financial services sector, ideally in the area of core banking systems.
• University degree in Computer Science (FH, ETH, University) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with container platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift.
• Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Above-average commitment and a high degree of initiative.
• Structured and analytical approach.
• Quick comprehension and high quality awareness.
• German
• Very good knowledge (at least C1)
• English
• Fluent in spoken and written word
