• Programming / Implementation / Customizing of technical components in applications based on the technologies used (Java, Spring Boot, Event Sourcing with the Axon Framework, NATS as messaging broker) including associated interfaces, modules, and corresponding databases, while adhering to the client's standards (e.g., use of standardized development environments and programming guidelines)
• Development and operation of components in a cloud-native environment (Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS) as well as provision and maintenance of infrastructure as code (IaC with Pulumi)
• Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) for automated builds, tests, and deployments
• Ensuring the observability of components (Observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo) including provision of suitable metrics, logs, and traces
• Fixing errors from test phases in the applications / components
• Creation and maintenance of automated tests (unit, integration, and component tests) to secure the developed functionality
• Documentation of technical components
• Creation of system documentation
• Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications, including associated release notes
• Technical support for the standard-compliant development of the safety-relevant system according to CENELEC (EN 50126 / EN 50716), including creation and maintenance of the required development artifacts and adherence to configuration and change management requirements

Requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in backend development using Java
• Min. 5 years of experience in backend development using Spring Boot
• CENELEC know-how in software development (Min. 2 projects)
• At least 3 years of experience with Hexagonal Architecture or comparable
• At least 3 years of experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• SHOULD-HAVE criteria:
• At least 3 years of experience in Observability using suitable tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS
• At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi
• At least 5 years of experience with Event Driven Design
• At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development using NATS as a messaging broker
• At least 5 years of experience with GitLab CI/CD
