Sharp Recruitment & Consultants is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Legal Counsel for a longer consultancy assignment with an established international company in Stockholm.

You will be part of a small legal function and work closely with the business on a wide range of commercial law issues. The role has a clear emphasis on commercial contracts, procurement, and supplier relations, and we are looking for someone who can quickly familiarize themselves with the business and independently drive legal matters from start to finish.

• draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
• independently manage contract processes from draft to signing
• identify and manage legal and commercial risks
• provide legal support in procurement and purchasing processes
• negotiate with suppliers and other business partners
• draft and update standard agreements and general terms and conditions
• provide ongoing commercial legal advice to various parts of the business
• manage disputes and, if necessary, coordinate external legal advisors.
• at least seven years of experience in independent commercial contract negotiations and drafting
• solid experience of the entire contract process
• experience in procurement law, purchasing processes, and supplier negotiations
• experience working with standard agreements and general terms and conditions
• very good Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• energy or commodity industry, preferably trading agreements
• shipping and transport agreements, for example Time Charter, Contract of Affreightment, and Demurrage
• EPC/EPCM and construction law
• international industrial operations
• dispute resolution
• sustainability-related compliance and adaptation of agreements to new regulations, for example ISCC
• Scope: 80–100 %
• Start: As soon as possible
• Assignment length: approximately 6–12 months
• Location: Stockholm
• Work arrangement: Four days a week in the office
• Limited travel may occur.
