Vacancy Senior Mendix Developer

What will you do?

Do you want to ensure that companies can electrify their production process? At Enexis, it's possible! Within the Large Consumer & Grids value chain, we are actively working on the development and support of new flex products. In this way, we ensure that customers who cannot normally be connected, can be. We help our business customers choose the right products, record them in a contract, and ensure that this is properly recorded and complied with. In this way, we enable the energy transition for these customers.

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will work in a team (SAFe/Scrum) on various applications based on Mendix and Flowable technology. The Large Consumer & Grids value chain is responsible for a diverse system landscape, from SAP backoffice systems to web portals and custom applications. A challenging backlog awaits with a diverse palette of tasks: new functionalities within existing applications, further development of the applications, and occasionally solving a bug, it's all there. In addition, you will handle management tasks together with your colleagues, according to DevOps principles.

You will work closely with IT and business colleagues to translate user needs into well-functioning applications.

This is how you approach it

You are an experienced Mendix developer with proven expertise in extending existing Mendix solutions.

As a Mendix expert, you can critically and constructively question business partners, initiate and manage projects, and guide junior developers.

You are a team player and a strong communicator.

You have at least 5 years of experience in Mendix and in further developing existing applications.

You have an exceptional problem-solving ability, strong analytical skills, and the ability to quickly learn and apply complex concepts.

You have a proven track record in translating business requirements into software solutions, actively supporting the PO, and leading the clarification of stories and requirements for development.

You can manage the entire lifecycle of Mendix applications, from concept to implementation and management, with an emphasis on adaptability and sustainability according to our internal recommendations.

You ensure high coding standards, best practices, and optimal security and performance.

You have experience collaborating with UX/UI to provide an excellent user experience.

You have knowledge of technologies such as REST integrations, testing, performance, security, HTML/CSS, and DevOps.

You have experience in close collaboration with business and operational teams.

Good command of the Dutch and/or English language.

You will be given the freedom to independently work in a Scrum team, together with your PO, fellow Mendix and Flowable developers, test engineers, and Scrum Master, on business requirements and translate them into smart solutions for the Enexis value chain.

As a senior Mendix developer in a small team, your contribution is all the greater. The lines are very short, and everyone's opinion is listened to carefully. There is a direct and safe communication atmosphere in the team. You will also work closely with various teams and provide demos. Expertise is abundant, as you will receive support from Enexis's Mendix platform team.
