Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant – Finance & Logistics

Project overview

For a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation project, we are looking for an experienced freelance consultant with a focus on Finance and Logistics.

The focus is on the implementation and integration of financial and logistical processes within Business Central. We are looking for a practice-oriented expert who, in addition to sound Finance knowledge, understands warehouse accounting in particular and can independently implement requirements in the system.

Responsibilities

Implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the areas of Finance and Logistics

Implementation and integration of financial and logistical business processes

Mapping of warehouse accounting processes and their interfaces to financial accounting

Requirements engineering and coordination of functional requirements

Independent customizing and development of individual adjustments

Contribution of best practices as well as evaluation of technical and functional solution approaches

Use of AI-supported development tools and existing AI agents

Requirements

Sound project experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Very good knowledge in the area of Finance and financial accounting

Sound understanding of warehouse accounting and the integration between Finance and Logistics

Practical experience in Business Central implementation projects

Hands-on experience with configuration, customizing, and development

Experience in requirements engineering

Knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio Code, and Azure DevOps, or willingness to independently familiarize yourself with them

Independent, solution-oriented, and team-oriented way of working

Desirable:

Experience in complex logistics and merchandise management processes

Industry knowledge in transport, general cargo, bulk goods, or maritime industry

Practical experience with AI-supported development processes
