• Analysis and resolution of complex errors and discrepancies in the Finance area of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Identification and correction of incorrect postings, account balances, and reconciliation differences
• Reconciliation of general ledger, sub-ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank accounts
• Analysis of problems in posting processes, G/L accounts, posting groups, and financial transactions
• Troubleshooting in the General Ledger as well as in operational financial accounting
• Support with intercompany postings and group-wide reconciliations
• Ensuring stable Finance processes across multiple Business Central tenants
• Root cause analysis of recurring system and posting errors
• Development of sustainable measures for error prevention
• Collaboration with local Finance teams and, if necessary, technical developers
• Optimization of existing Finance configurations and operational processes
• Documentation of error causes, solutions, and recommendations
• Several years of in-depth experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant
• Very deep functional knowledge of the Finance module
• Confident handling of:
• General Ledger
• Chart of Accounts
• Posting Groups
• Main and Sub-ledgers
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Bank Accounting
• Account Reconciliations
• Intercompany Processes
• Demonstrable experience in error analysis and troubleshooting within Business Central
• Ability to independently trace complex posting and reconciliation problems back to their root cause
• Very good knowledge of the configuration and dependencies within the Business Central Finance modules
• Experience with multiple companies, tenants, or international Finance setups is an advantage
• Experience collaborating with Finance key users, business departments, and technical developers
• Very structured and analytical approach to work
• Strong understanding of operational financial accounting processes
• Ability to differentiate between accounting errors, process problems, and system configuration errors
• Independent, solution-oriented work style

Project Environment

An experienced Senior Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a focus on Finance is sought for an international corporate environment.

The focus is on analyzing and sustainably resolving complex error patterns within financial processes. We are not looking for a pure support resource, but a solution-oriented personality who traces accounting discrepancies back to their technical or procedural cause and develops robust solutions together with Finance and IT stakeholders.
