We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Server Administrator to support an existing operations team. The role involves managing and optimizing a highly standardized Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure with approximately 220 database servers, with the possibility of working predominantly remotely.

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Server Administrator to support the existing operations team as soon as possible.
As part of the project, you will be responsible for the support and optimization of a highly standardized Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure with around 220 database servers. The assignment is initially planned for six months and offers the possibility of working predominantly remotely.
Requirements
Senior knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2019–2025. Experience with Always On Availability Groups. Experience with Windows Clustering. Knowledge in PowerShell automation and platform operations. Experience with backup and recovery concepts. Profound knowledge in performance and query tuning. Experience in ITIL-based IT operations. Experience in technical documentation and operational handovers. Knowledge in BSI basic protection and ISO 27001. Knowledge of highly standardized operating processes, multi-tenancy, hardening specifications, and audit-proof documentation. Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
Project details
