Job description
Seeking a Senior Middleware Consultant for a client in Bonn, Germany, focusing on the operation and support of IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, and related technologies. The role involves troubleshooting, automation, and ITIL processes.
Project overview
For a client in Bonn, we are currently looking for a Senior Middleware Consultant.
Responsibilities
– Operation and 2nd level support of IBM WebSphere Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and Apache HTTP Server
– Patch, release, and certificate management
– Troubleshooting and analysis of disruptions
– Automation with Ansible and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Jython, wsadmin)
– ITIL processes, Maximo, USU ITSM, and Jira
Requirements
– Min. 5 years of experience in middleware operation and support
– Min. 5 years of incident, problem, change, and release management
– Experience with WebSphere Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and Apache HTTP Server
– Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management
– Experience with Maximo, USU ITSM, and Jira
– Min. 4 years of script development (Bash, Python, Perl, Jython, wsadmin)
– Min. 3 years of experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancers
– Min. 3 years of experience with IAM/directory services
– Min. 3 years of experience with Citrix VADP environments
– Min. 3 years of experience with Linux (RHEL/SLES), AIX, and Windows Server
– Min. 3 years of experience in analyzing Java heap dumps and thread dumps
– German C1, English B1
– Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and Google Distributed Cloud Airgap is an advantage
– Willingness for security screening Ü2 according to SÜG
