Senior Network Operations & OSS Integration Consultant

Project overview

For our client in the telecommunications industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Operations & OSS Integration Consultant to technically design and prepare the operational integration of a Smart WiFi Backup Platform.

Responsibilities

• Creation of Low Level Designs (LLD) for SWB Traffic Server Operations as well as DNS, BNG, and IP Network Operations
• Design and documentation of the end-to-end connectivity between AWS/HAT Backend, VCI/Grafana, and SWB Traffic Servers
• Definition of OSS interfaces, data flows, network dependencies, and integration requirements
• Creation of an End-to-End Connection Matrix and Technical & OSS Integration Specification
• Definition of relevant KPIs, metrics, events, and alarms for monitoring and service assurance
• Development of test concepts, acceptance criteria, and type approval processes to ensure operational readiness
• Technical coordination with Engineering, Cloud, Network, Security, and Operations teams, as well as documentation of open integration points

Requirements

Desirable:

• Several years of experience in the telecommunications environment, especially in Network Operations and OSS Integration
• Profound knowledge of Carrier-Grade IP Networks, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Routing, BGP, NAT/CGNAT, and VLANs
• Practical experience with DNS, ideally also BNG environments
• Very good Linux knowledge (Ubuntu, RHEL) as well as network troubleshooting with tcpdump and Wireshark
• Experience with OSS, Monitoring, Service Assurance, as well as Grafana and Prometheus
• Knowledge of Cloud/Backend connectivity, APIs, and technical integration interfaces
• Experience with Operational Acceptance, Production Readiness, Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Experience in creating technical designs, integration specifications, and operational documentation
• Independent, cross-functional technical coordination
• Fluent German and English skills as well as willingness for planned night-time maintenance activities
• Kubernetes, container technologies, and AWS
• Python, Ansible, and network automation
• REST APIs, MQTT, Anycast/ECMP, and load balancing
• Security hardening, backup/restore, and disaster recovery
