Seeking a Senior PLC/Automation Engineer for a freelance role in Germany to design and develop a distributed station controller topology for large power plants, involving PLC programming and inter-controller communication.
Responsibilities
+ Analysis of the existing station controller architecture and determination of the performance limits of a single controller
+ Design and development of a distributed station controller topology for large power plants
+ PLC programming in Structured Text
+ Implementation of communication between multiple controllers via Modbus TCP and OPC UA
+ Performance and scaling tests to determine maximum plant capacity
