Seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Technical Lead to manage a team of Data Scientists and AI Engineers developing GenAI applications for product lifecycle decision support. The role involves setting technical direction, guiding architecture and implementation, mentoring the team, and translating business/scientific requirements into robust GenAI solutions.
Project overview
Seeking a highly experienced, hands-on technical leader at Senior or Principal level to lead a team of Data Scientists and AI Engineers. The team develops GenAI applications to support decisions across the entire product lifecycle. Responsibilities include setting the technical direction, steering architecture and implementation, mentoring the team, and translating business and scientific requirements into robust GenAI solutions.
The focus is on designing and orchestrating multiple agents and data sources to deliver trustworthy, informed, verifiable, and reference-based results with clear traceability to the underlying evidence. This includes evaluation, hallucination control, validation, observability, and human oversight where necessary. The applications must be production-ready, scalable, performant, reliable, secure, and cost-effective, supporting multiple concurrent users. Critical evaluation of new technologies, pragmatic technology decisions, and advancing the technical level of an experienced team are expected.
Flexible remote work; occasional travel as needed must be possible. Utilization from 50%, extension potential is available.
