Senior Project Manager - Data Migration

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Data Migration. This role is remote within core states.

Duties Include:

• Manage and create project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables for a complex data migration initiative
• Coordinate across internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party/vendor resources
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help teams maintain accountability against commitments and timelines
• Identify project gaps, drive follow-up, and keep workstreams moving toward key migration deadlines
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly at both the team and executive level
• Partner with business and data teams to support migration readiness and downstream adoption

Requirements

• Strong Project Management experience supporting complex enterprise initiatives
• Hands-on experience with data migration projects
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, ideally in a hybrid Scrum/Kanban environment
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to be concise, organized, and executive-ready
• Ability to manage detailed project plans and drive accountability across multiple teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
