Senior Project Manager International

Project overview

For one of our end clients from the insurance industry, we are currently looking for:

Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) international on a freelance basis.

Responsibilities

• Planning, steering, and monitoring the international rollout of a Bordereau Management solution, including IT operations aspects
• Development and continuous maintenance of an integrated rollout plan for multiple international locations
• Coordination of activities between central business and IT units, local organizations, project teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Steering and tracking of milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions
• Preparation and execution of regular project status, steering, and governance meetings
• Establishment and implementation of structured stakeholder, communication, and information management
• Ensuring transparent and target-group-oriented communication of project and rollout status
• Early identification and escalation of risks, dependencies, delays, and open decision requirements
• Creation of status reports, management presentations, as well as decision and escalation documents
• Coordination of the professional, organizational, and technical prerequisites for the individual rollout waves
• Support of international locations in the preparation and execution of the implementation
• Ensuring structured knowledge transfer between the central project team and local organizations
• Coordination of rollout readiness, go-live preparation, and required follow-up activities
• Continuous further development of rollout and governance structures

Requirements

Framework Data:

• Several years of demonstrable experience as a Senior Project Manager in complex international implementation and rollout projects
• Sound experience in planning and steering cross-country rollouts
• Experience in complex transformation programs with numerous business and IT stakeholders
• Strong expertise in stakeholder, communication, and information management
• Sound knowledge in project planning, project controlling, risk and dependency management, as well as management reporting
• Very good knowledge of the insurance environment, ideally in industrial and specialty insurance
• Experience in the area of Delegated Authority
• Knowledge and practical experience in Bordereau Management
• Knowledge in TPA management as well as in collaboration with Third Party Administrators
• Experience in working with international and intercultural teams
• Confident use of common project management and collaboration tools
• Location: Primarily remote
