Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility or significant support in the tender for production planning software
• Structuring and execution of the selection process
• Recording and evaluation of requirements from production, planning, and supply chain
• Creation or coordination of functional specifications
• Creation or coordination of requirements catalog
• Creation or coordination of evaluation criteria
• Creation or coordination of tender documents
• Management and coordination of potential software vendors
• Organization and support of vendor presentations, demos, and workshops
• Evaluation of vendors and solutions
• Preparation of management and decision papers
• Support in the selection decision and contract preparation
• Planning and management of the subsequent software implementation
• Coordination of business units, IT, production, supply chain, and software vendors
• Management of risks, dependencies, milestones, and decisions
• Preparation of process harmonization, data migration, testing, training, and go-live
• Communication with stakeholders up to C-level or top management level
• Ensuring a sustainable transition to operational business

Requirements

• Many years of experience as a project manager in complex software or transformation projects
• Experience in tendering and selecting enterprise software
• Demonstrable experience in implementing production planning, supply chain, or ERP-related solutions
• Very good knowledge of production planning and supply chain management
• Experience in mechanical and plant engineering or comparable manufacturing companies
• Understanding of production processes, capacity planning, material availability, and supply chains
• Experience in managing software vendors and implementation partners
• Confident interaction with business units, IT, management, and C-level stakeholders
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Structured, assertive, and independent way of working
• Very good German and English skills
