Senior Project Manager SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) - Vienna

Büllesbach & Plöntzke is looking for a freelance Senior Project Manager for a client for the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll in Austria. The project is part of a global SAP SuccessFactors rollout. We are looking for an experienced project manager who can structure the intake of local requirements and manage the collaboration between HR, process management, IT, and the implementation partner.

A good technical understanding of Austrian payroll is mandatory. This involves the secure classification of country-specific terms, requirements, and processes – not operational customizing or detailed work on schemes and cycles.

Tasks and Requirements

In-depth customizing and detailed knowledge of schemes and cycles are not required.

Framework Conditions

• Several years of experience as a project manager in SAP HCM or SuccessFactors payroll projects
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), alternatively sound experience with SAP HCM Payroll for Austria
• Good technical understanding of Austrian payroll as a mandatory requirement
• Planning, management, and monitoring of the Austrian payroll rollout
• Structured intake and documentation of customer-specific and local requirements
• Coordination between the local HR team, process management, IT, implementation partner, and other stakeholders
• Experience in change, risk, conflict, and escalation management
• Preparation and moderation of coordination meetings as well as consistent follow-up of results, decisions, and open points
• Ability to understand works council agreements and organizational requirements and to translate them into implementable solutions together with the involved teams
• Strong communication and moderation skills as well as a confident demeanor in demanding project situations
• Fluent German and English skills

November 2026

until March 2028 with an option to extend

Utilization: at least 3 days per week

Remote and Vienna

On-site portion: approximately 40–50% in Vienna
