Dear Python Developers,
For one of our long-standing clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer (m/f/x) for monitoring solutions and the development of modern REST APIs. Freelance experts particularly appreciate the technically demanding environment, the long-term project perspective, and the opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of central infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Python development for individual extensions and monitoring concepts
- Development and integration of modern REST APIs
- Development of high-quality Python applications with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Close collaboration with the internal development team
- Independent effort estimations and reliable communication of project progress
- Active coordination with the client's technical contacts
Requirements
Project Flow / Workload
- Several years of experience (at least 5-10 years) in professional Python development
- Very good knowledge of Python
- Experience with Flask or solid experience in native Python development
- Experience in the development and integration of REST APIs
- Ideally, experience with monitoring solutions
- Very good understanding of Clean Code, software architecture, and best practices (e.g., SOLID principles)
- Experience with Git and cleanly documented and well-structured code
- Cloud experience (e.g., Azure, SAP Cloud, or Cisco Cloud) is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Very good German or English language skills
- High degree of personal responsibility and excellent communication skills
- Initial onboarding due to vacation with 5-10 hours per week
- Workload will then be gradually increased in coordination
- Long-term goal is full-time workload
