We are an IT service and consulting company with a focus on Microsoft technologies, founded in 1999. Today we employ 400 people. They manage diverse and demanding projects for public and private clients from conception to realization. For a project in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer for Network Automation on a freelance basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions with Python.
• Design and implement own API solutions with FastAPI.
• Integrate third-party interfaces and external services.
• Automate network components.
• Comprehensibly document source code and work results and provide them to the client.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of solid practical experience in software development with Python.
• Practical experience in the design and implementation of own APIs with FastAPI.
• Experience in integrating third-party interfaces and external services.
• Experience with Nautobot and HashiCorp Vault.
• Knowledge of container technologies, especially Podman, as well as DevOps practices like IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge in the automation of network components.
• Practical know-how regarding network, storage, and compute components within larger cloud platforms.
• Experience with products from F5, Check Point, and Cisco is an advantage.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Willingness to commit according to the Verpflichtungsgesetz (Commitment Law) and to the data secrecy according to § 53 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act).
• Willingness for a security check at level Ü2 for sabotage and secrecy protection.
