Senior Rust Security Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Rust Security Engineer for an international IT consulting project. This is an urgent full-time position in the field of Cybersecurity with a contract duration of 7 months plus possible extension.

The position is fully remote and ideal for professionals who want to contribute their expertise in modern security architectures. You will work on the development and implementation of Zero-Trust security architectures and analyze complex codebases as well as identify and fix security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments and implement remediation measures
• Promote and support secure agile application development
• Optimize CI/CD integration and automation
• Collaboration with cloud infrastructures, especially Google Cloud

Requirements

• Extensive practical experience with Rust at a senior level
• Deep understanding of Zero-Trust security concepts
• Proven ability to analyze and solve complex security problems end-to-end
• Solid knowledge of Google Cloud, including APIs for Embeddings and Natural Language Processing
• Strong affinity for CI/CD processes and automation
• Fluent German and English skills
