Job description
We are seeking a Senior SAP Consultant for HCM Payroll to technically support and further develop the SAP HCM system landscape for Germany. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them in the Payroll module, with a focus on migration projects and optimization.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Technical support and continuous development of the SAP HCM system landscape and associated applications for Germany
- Central interface between specialist departments, IT partners, and external service providers
- Analysis of requirements and design of sustainable SAP software solutions
- Implementation of solutions in the Payroll module (PY), including customizing of schemes and rules
- Participation in migration projects (system consolidations, S/4HANA migration)
- Execution of project and support activities in the SAP HR Payroll area
- Review of partial or complete processes for optimization potential
- Consulting internal customers (HR) on technical matters
- Documentation as well as identification and resolution of problems and incidents
- Completed university degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification, alternatively relevant vocational training
- Profound knowledge in SAP HR Payroll, especially in customizing schemes and rules
- Experience with migration projects in the SAP environment, ideally S/4HANA
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Independent, self-responsible, and results-oriented way of working
- High self-motivation as well as strong communication and persuasion skills
