Senior SAP BI Developer SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere & Analytics Cloud

Project overview

For the maintenance and further development of group-wide SAP applications, we are looking for an experienced Senior Developer with in-depth expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud. The focus is on ensuring existing business processes, resolving errors, and the technical advancement of applications based on new functional requirements. Collaboration will be agile using the Kanban method within a delivery team.

• Duration: Until 12/31/2028
• Utilization: A total of 400 person-days, of which 200 PT in 2027 and 200 PT in 2028 (approx. 4 days per week)
• Location: Remote within Germany / Project location: Frankfurt am Main (100% remote possible)
• Language: German at native level

Responsibilities

• Consulting and development in the environment of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud for the modules SAP PS, SAP FIMA, and SAP FI
• Development of technical solutions for implementing functional requirements, including the creation of technical specifications
• Programming and implementation of technical components as well as associated interfaces
• Adherence to specified development standards, standardized development environments, and programming guidelines
• Analysis and resolution of errors from test phases
• Analysis and resolution of errors in productive operation
• Technical documentation of developed components
• Creation and maintenance of system documentation
• Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications
• Support for functional operations management and user support
• Independent and self-organized service delivery within an agile team working according to Kanban

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced SAP BI Developer who brings both technical development competence and experience in the functional SAP environment. The following must-have requirements must be met and should be clearly demonstrated in the CV with specific projects, roles, timeframes, and activities.

• More than 3 years of experience in IT projects at a railway undertaking
• More than 3 years of experience in IT projects with the SAP PS module
• More than 3 years of experience in IT projects with the SAP FIMA – Financing Management module
• More than 5 years of experience as a developer in SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA in conjunction with SAP HANA XSA for the implementation of IT requirements
• Experience as a developer in SAP Datasphere in conjunction with SAP Analytics Cloud, especially in the implementation of IT requirements
• German language skills at native level

Nice to have

• More than 5 years of experience with the ABAP programming language
• More than 5 years of experience with HANA SQL
• Experience in AI-supported programming
• More than 5 years of consulting expertise in gathering and analyzing customer requirements
