Senior SAP BPC Consultant

Project overview

For an SAP project with our client, we are looking for an experienced SAP BPC Consultant.

The focus is on advising business departments on planning, forecasting, and potentially consolidation processes, as well as their technical and functional implementation in SAP BPC. We are explicitly looking for a Senior Consultant, not a purely technical developer, who understands business requirements, structures them, and translates them into viable SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advising business departments on SAP BPC
• Gathering, analyzing, and structuring business requirements
• Conception and implementation of planning and reporting solutions
• Hands-on customizing and further development of existing BPC solutions
• Support with data models, planning logic, data flows, and interfaces
• Coordination between business departments, SAP team, and other project stakeholders
• Support with tests, error analysis, and productive go-lives

Requirements

Project Framework

• Several years of hands-on experience with SAP BPC
• Very good experience in SAP consulting close to business departments
• Experience with SAP BPC Standard and/or Embedded
• Good knowledge in the areas of Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting
• Knowledge in the SAP BW / BW/4HANA environment is an advantage (not a must-have)
• Experience with SAP HANA, data models, and integrations is an advantage (not a must-have)
• Knowledge in adjacent topics such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, S/4HANA Finance, or Group Reporting is welcome
• Independent working style at a Senior Consultant level
• Very good German language skills are mandatory

Project details

ASAP / by arrangement

at least 6 months, extension possible

Utilization: 70-100% (by arrangement)

predominantly remote

Willingness to travel: project-dependent on-site assignments

Profiles that combine technical SAP BPC competence with strong business department consulting and can work both conceptually and hands-on are particularly interesting.
