Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Project overview

The mission consists of acting as a SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant within a major SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a large group in the energy sector. The consultant will be responsible for supporting the evolution, maintenance, and operational readiness of the SAP Central Finance solution, while participating in the design and implementation of interfaces with the future S/4HANA environment.

Specifically, they will be involved in analyzing and scoping Finance business requirements, designing SAP flows and interfaces, managing accounting repositories, as well as data migration operations and consistency checks. They will also provide Level 3 application support, manage corrections and evolutions until production, prepare acceptance tests, and support business acceptance testing. They will need to challenge the solutions proposed by the integrator, validate functional designs, and monitor deliverables, risks, workloads, and deadlines.

Profile Sought

The desired profile is an experienced or senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with in-depth expertise in SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and significant experience in SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA transformation projects. Excellent command of Finance processes, particularly in general accounting, controlling, and management of accounting repositories, is essential. The consultant must have practical experience in designing and integrating SAP interfaces, with a good command of RFC, qRFC, and IDoc technologies.

Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration tools, especially LTMC and LTMOM, as well as experience in data migration and consistency checks, are also expected. Proven experience in functional design, application maintenance, L3 support, and managing SAP evolutions is necessary. The profile must demonstrate autonomy, rigor, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to challenge integrators while collaborating effectively with business and technical teams. Proficiency in French is required.

Work Environment

The mission takes place in a complex SAP Finance environment, within a strategic ECC6 to S/4HANA migration program in the energy sector. The consultant will work closely with Finance business teams, IT teams, application managers, and integrators to ensure the continuity of service for SAP Central Finance and the proper integration of future S/4HANA flows. The context combines IT transformation activities, functional design, application maintenance, and securing interfaces and financial data. The mission is based in Nanterre (92), with 3 days on-site per week and 2 days of remote work.

A start date no later than December 1, 2026, is desired, with an initial duration planned until December 31, 2028.
