The Opportunity

We are supporting a major organisation in Belgium with a significant HR transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP HR/SAP HCM & SuccessFactors Expert.

The assignment will focus on the scoping and preparation of a future SAP SuccessFactors implementation, integrated with the existing SAP HR/ECC environment.

Working closely with business management, IT teams and key stakeholders, you will help define the target architecture, implementation roadmap and migration strategy.

• Define the business and IT scope of the SAP SuccessFactors implementation.
• Develop the implementation roadmap for the relevant SuccessFactors modules.
• Contribute to and finalise functional and technical specifications.
• Define the high-level migration strategy from existing HR applications towards SuccessFactors and SAP HR.
• Identify migration opportunities, constraints, dependencies and risks.
• Define the overall As-Is/To-Be architecture and processes.
• Conduct reverse analysis of existing HR applications and functionalities.
• Produce detailed technical-functional analysis and documentation.
• Facilitate workshops with developers, end users, IT teams and senior management.
• Contribute to solution design alongside business and technical stakeholders.
• Assess the impact of decommissioning existing applications, including historical data and functionality dependencies.
• 10+ years of professional experience in SAP environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP HR/SAP HCM.
• Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors.
• Solid understanding of SAP ECC HR environments.
• Proven experience delivering HR transformation and SAP implementation projects.
• Strong background in project scoping, roadmap definition and As-Is/To-Be analysis.
• Experience with Legacy application migration and decommissioning.
• Ability to produce functional and technical-functional documentation.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business, IT and management stakeholders.
• Recent experience operating as an IT Project Manager, SAP Expert or Senior SAP Consultant.
• Fluent French, both written and spoken.
• Active working knowledge of English.
• Flexibility to travel between different business locations in Belgium when required.
• Initial 12-month freelance assignment.
• Approximately 50% onsite in the Wallonia area.
• Potential travel between different business units.
